Police Chief Jaye Loggins retired after 29 years in law enforcement with the City of Mountain Brook where he climbed ranks, ending his time there as Chief of Police in March of 2025.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Justice Science from UAB, and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Jacksonville State University and is a certified Law Enforcement Executive with the Alabama Peace Officers Standards and Training
Commission.
He is also a graduate of the Alabama Public Safety Leadership Academy and has completed several FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association
courses.
